Pair of Staffordshire Porcelain Lion and Lamb Groups

Description: A very good pair of Staffordshire porcelain lion and lamb groups attributed to John and Rebecca Lloyd of Shelton. Recumbent to the left and right, their manes formed from sieved clay, and each with a nestling lamb by their paws. The shaped rectangular bases outlined in gold. C1835. 12cms wide.

Condition: Small hairline to left lion extending only from plinth base to bottom left front paw. Some slight losses to sieved clay manes of both lions.
